The Centre universitaire, Institut supérieur de technologie, Institut supérieur d’études et de recherches pédagogiques and Institut d’études éducatives et sociales were combined in 2003 to produce the University of Luxembourg we know of today. 1. Luxembourg Foreign Affairs Masters Scholarship
Every year, the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs funds a talent support programme which is known for awarding scholarships like the Guillaume Dupaix International Master’s Scholarship. Scholarships like this aims at attracting high-performing non European Union Master students who do not have enough financial strength to bear the weight of study costs at Luxembourg.
This scholarship seeks to financially assist students who are up for the master programmes at the University of Luxembourg’s, Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance. Of you eventually become a successful awardee of this scholarship, you get to receive a stipend that amounts to 500EUR per month, and is also paid in two instalments per academic year at the beginning of each semester for a maximum of 2 years.
Also, the awardees get to receive free accommodation in a student residence hall for the duration of the master programme at a cost of up to 650EUR/month for a maximum of two years. It is important to note that this scholarship is subject to a performance assessment and can be withheld, for example in case of poor results, academic misconduct or even withdrawal from the Master programme.
Eligibility
Before you can be considered eligible for this scholarship, you must:
Be a non European Union master applicant.
Have high academic achievements at Bachelor studies.
Be applying to one of the FDEF master programmes.

2. Private-Public-Partnership Scholarship
Each year, the U.S. Embassy in cooperation with U.S. companies in Luxembourg, does well to offer a scholarship to two or three Bachelor students to study at one of the University of Luxembourg’s partner universities in the Unites States.
If you eventually become a successful awardee of the Private-Public-Partnership Scholarship, you get the chance to receive about 4000€.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Private-Public-Partnership Scholarship, a student must fulfill the following conditions:
Be enrolled in a Bachelor programme at the University of Luxembourg.
